# Meteocontrol (VCOM)

## What needs to be shared with Ensights in order to connect Meteo-Control systems:

1.  User API key
2.  Username and password to the VCOM platform with the relevant systems.

## How do i get an API key?

Contact Metecontrol support in your area and request an API key package.

## What API package would I need?

This depends on 2 factors:

-   Number of systems
-   Whether you are interested in live-monitoring or not
-   Utility scale systms vs. C&I systems

1.  If you are interested in live-monitoring, the smallest package of 500 calls will be enough for 3-5 systems only.
2.  If you have under 100 C&I systems or 20 Utility scalse systems, the 10,000 call package will do.
3.  For larger portfolios you will need the 100,000 call package
